This Friday 9/16, something beautiful will happen all around the globe: dull, gray parking spaces will turn into vibrant, green parks. PARK(ing) Day is an annual international celebration that encourages citizens to imagine a world with more urban green space.
Check out Reservoir Hill’s PARK(ing) Day site this Friday from 9am-3pm at John Eager Howard Elementary School, where we’ll be converting teachers’ parking spaces into Compost Kitchen. Students will learn how to construct both real and edible compost boxes.
Come for the (real) worms! Stay for the (edible) dirt!
